NovaCloud Resource & Performance Standard (FUP)

Protecting the 99.99% Uptime Promise.

At NovaCloud, "Unlimited" means Uncapped Potential for Business. To ensure every partner experiences peak velocity on our Liquid Telecom backbone, we enforce the following standards.

1. Resource Integrity (CPU & RAM)

Our infrastructure is an elite engine. If one pilot red-lines their engine, it shouldn't slow down the fleet.

No Sustained Red-Lining: Continuous 100% CPU or RAM utilization for more than 4 consecutive hours (not related to a documented burst or scale event) is considered "Resource Hoarding."
Prohibited Mining: The use of NovaCloud resources for Cryptocurrency mining (Proof of Work or Stake) is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate account termination.
Stress Testing: Performance or "Load Testing" against our infrastructure without 48-hour prior written notice to our NOC is prohibited.

2. Network Velocity (Bandwidth & Traffic)

We’ve killed the traffic fee, but we haven't killed the laws of physics.

Normal Business Flow: "Unlimited Traffic" covers standard web, app, and API data. It does not cover using NovaCloud as a "Global Transit Hub" for 3rd party traffic.
Prohibited Network Activities: Running Open Proxies, Tor Relays, VPN aggregators, or unauthorized "Traffic Tunneling" is a violation of our backbone agreement.

3. Storage Precision (NVMe/SSD)

We offer high-performance decoupled storage for Active Data.

Not a Dumping Ground: NovaCloud storage is not a personal backup repository. Storing multi-terabyte "cold" archives or data not directly serving an active application is prohibited.
IOPS Abuse: High-frequency automated read/write loops that artificially inflate IOPS to the detriment of the storage cluster will be throttled.

4. Restricted High-Risk Activities

To protect our IP reputation and ZAR-based billing stability, the following are "Hard No" zones:

Botnets & Scraping: Operating mass-scale web crawlers or "Bot" networks that trigger security alerts.
Malware Hosting: Hosting malware or "Phishing" pages (even if unintentional due to a breach) will result in an immediate "Safety Lock" of the resource.

5. The "Safety Switch" & Support

NovaCloud is a partnership. If your footprint exceeds these "Fair Play" boundaries, we prefer consultation over cancellation.

Proactive Outreach: If your usage triggers an alert, our team will reach out to help you optimize or right-size your environment.
Right to Intervene: We reserve the right to dynamically rate-limit or migrate resources that threaten the stability of the Tier III environment.
